At pritidenta, everything revolves around zirconium dioxide!
We do this one thing, and we do it really well. For over 10 years, this has been ensured by, among other things, internal research and development and in-house production. Both are located in Germany (Leinfelden-Echterdingen and Plaidt) – and, of course, we have a great team. At pritidenta, everything revolves around zirconia (zirconium dioxide). This is our core competence and our passion. Quality is our top priority. We don't measure batches, but every single pre-sintered blank.
The beginnings of all-ceramic restorations date back over 100 years; around 1900, an American dentist invented the jacket crown. In the 1920s, the technique became popular in Europe, despite its complicated and problematic application. When CAD/CAM technology found its way into dentistry at the end of the 1980s, the foundation was laid for the standard use of all-ceramic materials. Today, various materials are available. Zirconium dioxide has shown the greatest potential.
pritidenta's guiding principle
We develop products for dental technicians and dentists that combine high aesthetics with efficient manufacturing and automation in the CAD/CAM field. Our goal is to offer our customers a high-quality solution at a fair price-performance ratio.
pritidenta – Where does the name come from?
The first part of our name [priti] comes from the Indian word meaning: completion, beauty, pleasure in Sanskrit. Sanskrit is both a liturgical language and an ancient Indian literary and scholarly language. In Indian culture, Sanskrit has a similar significance to the Latin and Ancient Greek languages in Europe.
The second part of the name [ denta ] is an abbreviation of “dental”.
